The Bucket List

Hi....have you ever thought about bucket list? It's a list that you want to do before you die. I was interested bucket list, when I saw the movie 'bucket list', that Morgan freeman filmed. It was so funny and at last, it was very sad and touching. Even though they didn't went to the mountains, they achieved it at last, by a dead body.
Achieving everything you want to do is very hard. But, if you work for it hard, you would be able to achieve about ten things that you listed. Since this blog's name is Michael's life, I'd like to talk more about the bucket list than any other posts, because it is related to life.
First, there are ten hings I want to achieve before I die. My dream is an architect, and now you'd recognize I'm a student. But, no matter how much old are you, the important thing is the courage and hard working.
Age and strength doesn't matters.
Now, back to my bucket list, most of the bucket list are related to my future h\job, architect. to be a famous architect such as Richard Myer and Soo Gun Kin.

BUCKET LIST No.1
To be a famous, and successful architect, I need to study about the famous architectures such as Pyramid, Eiffel tower, and Giant Jesus structure. So, it means read more architecture books.

BUCKET LIST No.2
It's funny that there are no world wide famous architect university in Korea, so I'd like to build a huge architecture school, to make more architects who can lead the 2nd generation of my project.

BUCKET LIST No.3
This part is ind of funny. I always wanted to Bungee jump before I die. But, I guess I'd need to do it faster than I think, because it could cause a heart attack, when you do it on 80 years old.

BUCKET LIST No.4
I always wanted to make a innovative buildings such as Eiffel tower, or sound building. I would build my own style architecture by my own skill.

BUCKET LIST No.5
Everyone always wants to do this, and I know it because everyone says.(Well, all people I know...)I want to merry with a smart, and pretty lady. I'm not saying that I want Miss Korea to be my wife..(Oops! I said it!)

BUCKET LIST No.6
I feel lonely at this part. I never been to foreign country, riding an airplane. I just rode it once, going to Je Ju Island, which is still Korea's land. If I get a lotto, I'd like to buy one airplane, and go to Hawaii.

BUCKET LIST No.7
TO be honest, I'm not sure I will be a architect. Because i couldn't throw away the desire of painting. But, when I was 10, I had to throw it away, because my dad said, "Artists can't earn much money,". But, I still love to draw, and I would like to draw some modern art paintings.

BUCKET LIST No.8
Traveling is the best rest to me. Because I have an allergy to dust, my parents love to travel to forest, and camp. After the first camping in the mountain, I started to love the nature, and go for a trip about 1 times per 2 weeks. When I grow up, I really want to travel all over the world, except the Amazon.

BUCKET LIST No.9
Because this blog is the second blog, and the first failed brutally, I really want to grow this blog to bigger blog. Not killing it. So, I'm now an active writer, even though no one is watching.

BUCKET LIST No. 10
I want to die peacefully, and  won't do drugs or smoke, which hurts my body do much.

I hope I'd achieve all the 10 lists, and be a famous architect. I hope you'd see me in TV about 20 years later!

4th photo essay

Hi! This will probably be my last photo essay in GLPS. So, I took picture extra hard, and picked the best picture.
Because I didn't brought my camera, I borrowed it from my friend, Chan. Thanks!

Because going out to the garden during class is not allowed, I took this photo in the building. This is the clean, and blue sky of KMLA, and we could see some buildings over the mountain.

Because of the weather and chan's help, I could get a clear shot. Thanks.

P.S. Thanks for everybody who's watching now, too.

3rd photo essay

This is my third photo essay, and I think this is the best photo I ever took. This is the image of Minjok building's front door, and it is also built in traditional way.
The weather was helping me, too. So, I ran out of class, took this photo immediately, and came back to computer room. Now, I'm uploading it, and writing something. Now, too. Now, too. Now. too. Okay, let's stop it.
I'm not good at ancient Korean, but I'm studying it now. I now know the 7th graders, but I still can't understand this ancient Korean.

Now, this is the whole KMLA! (Except the second dormitory)
It is in the mountains, so students could study in the fresh, uncontaminated, and clean nature. Next to KMLA, there are some farming areas, and they plants corns, rice, and other vegetables.

2nd photo essay

This is my second photo essay, and I started to get fun of it. It's funny that I got fun in photo essay, which is really boring. But, sometimes taking a photo with my camera and sharing it with others make me little fun in my life.

So, I started to take pictures more and more, and finally ended up like this, as you can see. 4 photos!

First, the image in the left, is a park and a road that connects two buildings. Dasan building and Chungmu building. It is both famous Korean's first name. When I came here first, I thought there was only 2nd floor in this buildings. But, guess what? 4th floor! My dream is an architect, and because of this building, I think I'll probably build lot of Hanoks at future.

Next image is the whole KMLA, and I took this photo inside of the Dasan building. You can see golf lounge at the right, and it is bigger when you get closer to it. The bridge in the front is only a one bridge in KMLA. There are two bridges, and they all have name. They're all written in ancient Korean, so I don't know what is the name of the bridge. But, it looks cool, especially when the water sprayers and fountains are on. The white building is a 2nd dormitory, and the first is not on this photo, but it has more than 12th floor. It's huge for a dormitory. The blue building, which is also a Hanok, is archery class.
Lot of people won't understands this photo. So, I'll first talk about ancient Korean before I explain. It was first made in ancient China, but unfortunately came to Korea, and was well known for the main word of Korea. But, the great king, Saejong, made Korean for his whole life, and it is now well used in Korea. You'll see him at the 10000 won, which is green money. Now, this is the structure on the stairs, and the flower is the Korean flower, Morning Glory.(It's funny that there are Morning Glory company in foreign countries.....) So, the word is the Korean word, Min, Sa, Go.
The last photo is.....the sun, with the rooftop of Hanok. I just took it because all the other photographers like to take picture of hot, bright sun, with something next to it. Not an important image......But, I really had hard time taking this photo, because my eyeballs were burning.

Well, thank you for looking, and I hope you'd start your photo essay.....on your blog, or my blog! Whatever.....

Dinosaurus

1st photo essay

This is my first time of photo essay, and it's really boring. But I think it would be awesome and great when I look at this photo essay later 5 or 6 years.

I'm now in a camp named GLPS(Global Leadership Program for Student), and it is now held in KMLA (Korean Minjok Leadership Academy), which is one of the best high school in Korea.

I love my friends, PAs(Program assistant), TAs(Teaching Assistant), teachers, and food.(Well, especially FOOD)

The first image is a building in MInjok building. It is built by Korean traditional architecture skills, and it is called 'Hanock'.

It might look wierd to foreign peoples, but it has lot of good things.

First, it is all made by natural materials such as earth, wood, and leaves. So if it crashes, it goes back to nature immediately. (Weigh more faster than cement)

Second, if it rains, the water naturally flows to the ground, because of the lines on the roof.

At the bottom, it also has a boiler, which is called, 'Ondoll'. First, we need to fire the fireplace, which is used to cook rice of other foods. Than, the heat goes to the bottom part of the house, which was made when the house was made. At the floor, there are two parts. Rock, and wood. the heat slowly heats the stone floor, and the wood gets hot, because of the rock.

This is why I love Korean traditional house, Hanok.
